Friend Like You
I created this work shortly after ‘Lilith’. Still struggling to let go to move forward. Still entertaining things that I knew were not aligned with my soul any longer. I remember going trick-or-treating for the last time, feeling silly that I was dressed up at people’s doors just one year too old to be there. I remember my last time going to Chuck-E-Cheese. I even had the same feeling when I went back to my college town after I graduated. This painting is a depiction of that feeling. Being a kid is great, but do not let any one hold you back from growing into what you were meant to be.
