I have been playing with the motif of the dog over the last year or two. You can see this figure appear in various pieces of my work. Dogs have sparked my interest- man’s best friend, loyal to a fault yet can turn on someone in a split second. Sometimes lovingly referred to as someone’s “shadow”. This painting portrays a pack of dogs, with one as the protagonist turned on by her own kind.
